Recycler Position

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Recyclers for a leading waste management company located in Perham, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!

What You'll Do as a Recycler:

• Operate MRF sorting equipment on sort line to develop products for return to the WTE Facility and/or develop end products for secondary markets or re-use
• Provide manual sorting and spot checking of all waste that enters the MRF
• Monitor the filling and removal of product containers to storage areas or end processing (baling) areas and provide information to MRF Operators
• Inform MRF Operators about equipment operations by monitoring equipment
• Maintain and record required documentation
• Clean buildings, grounds and equipment

What You Need to Bring to the Recycler Role:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in mechanical and/or equipment operations and maintenance
• Knowledge of equipment operations and industrial hazards
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to stand, walk, talk, or hear; use hands to operate equipment, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Willingness to frequently stoop, crouch, crawl, kneel, balance, and climb stairs/ladders, and work in cramped, confined, or high areas
• Exposure to heat, cold, moving mechanical equipment, and areas with low or inadequate lighting
• Ability to lift, push, or move materials over 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, ability to adjust and re-focus
