Italian - Generalist Voice Actor (AI Training) About the Role What if your Italian voice could directly shape how AI speaks with millions of people around the world? We're looking for skilled Italian-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech - helping train the next generation of voice AI to sound natural, expressive, and authentically human.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed - just a commanding Italian voice, professional recording setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

not involve any voice cloning activities.
What You'll Do - Record clear, expressive, high-fidelity Italian audio using provided scripts and prompts
- Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for naturalness, accuracy, tone, and expressiveness
- Provide structured, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized voice quality
- Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
- Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule
Who You Are - Full fluency in spoken Italian - native or near-native
- Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio roles
- Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording space
- Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances consistently
- Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall vocal clarity
- Detail-oriented when it comes to evaluating and giving feedback on audio quality
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have - Experience with character voice work, commercial narration, or broadcast voice-over
- Familiarity with audio editing tools or digital audio workstations (DAWs)
- Exposure to AI audio tools or speech synthesis platforms as an end user
- Background in linguistics, phonetics, or language instruction
- Knowledge of regional Italian dialects or accents
