Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Anchorage, AK

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an acute hospital Operating Room setting
Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required within scope of practice
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Participate in on-call coverage as needed for call-off situations
Float to like units or affiliate facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements
Adhere to facility compliance standards, policies, and patient safety protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of offer
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
Current BLS certification
No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience required
Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Willingness to work weekends and 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS certification
CNOR certification
Experience with Epic electronic health records
