Job Summary Schedule: 3:00 PM To ensure continuous and efficient operation of the established receiving and put‑away process, as well as all subsequent inventory transactions. Duties and Responsibilities Pick, stage and load out customer orders. Maintain, invoice, and generate accurate paperwork for customer orders. Coordinate with 3rd‑party carriers on available pickups. Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Always adhere to safe working practices. Perform daily checks of area for non‑compliance and report them to your manager. Accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceability. Always ensure clean and tidy work areas. Plan all activities to reduce downtime. Load vehicles timely, accurately, and efficiently. Organize and prioritize pick‐order for the night. Manage ERP system transactions. Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes. Take active lead with new employees and temporary labor. Encourage colleagues to challenge the statusquo and drive continuous improvement. Take instructions from supervisors. Any other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by management. Communicate an end‑of‑shift breakdown / hand‑off to the next shift. Required Skills Three years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry. Three years of experience with inventory control. Experience working in temperature‑controlled settings. Experience with perishable items. Proven record of accomplishment in safe working practices. Excellent interpersonal skills for working in a team environment. Goal‑oriented and well organized. Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time. Desired Skills Ability to operate a pallet jack / forklift. Ability to interact and communicate with supervisors and team members. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Time management. Problem solving. Planning and organizing. Pay Range for Shipping Lead The Shipping Lead base pay range is $21–$27 USD hourly. The listed salary range represents Kettle Cuisine’s good faith estimate for this position and is the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries for the Lynn, MA location only. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. The Shipping Lead position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and for the annual discretionary bonus program up to 5%.
