Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunities await skilled Registered Nurses who have a passion for supporting students' well-being in a dynamic school environment. This contract position involves providing direct nursing care to a single student as a 1:1 nurse through the end of the current school year, with the potential to transition into a floater nurse role covering health needs across various sites for Extended School Year (ESY) in June.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Missouri (verified via Nursys)
• Strong pediatric experience required—ideally in ICU, ER, or school settings within the past few years
• Demonstrated ability to work independently; most assignments involve being the sole RN at a school
• Proficiency with electronic documentation and strong multitasking abilities
• Flexible with shifts and locations, able to cover PreK-12 sites and adapt to changing schedules, sometimes with short notice
• Comfortable with field trips, health room management, and floating to multiple sites in a day
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• New graduates will not be considered

Your Role Will Include:

• Delivering high-quality, 1:1 nursing care to a designated student through May 22nd
• Acting as a float nurse for ESY (June 1–25), supporting general health room operations and covering as needed
• Managing student health records and care documentation digitally
• Collaborating with staff and families to promote student health
• Responding to changing student and building needs with professionalism and care
