Overview of BLOC Ministries/ Ola Immigrant Welcome Center We are an urban faith-based non profit serving the needs of the Cincinnati area immigrant population. Our mission is to create prosperous communities where immigrants are welcomed, embraced, and empowered. Position Summary: We seek a compassionate Community Navigator to support immigrant families in building stable, independent futures. This role combines case management, advocacy, and volunteer coordination to expand our impact. Key Responsibilities: Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized client plans. Connect immigrants to housing, healthcare, employment, and legal aid. Organize and lead volunteers to provide direct support during critical times. Advocate for immigrant rights and empower clients with knowledge and resources. Build partnerships with local organizations and mobilize volunteers for advocacy. Track client progress and document outcomes. Qualifications: Experience in case management, community organizing, or volunteer coordination OR lived immigrant experience. Proficiency in English and Spanish. Strong communication, organizational, and cross-cultural skills. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
