Horizon Air is seeking a safety-focused, reliable Ground/Ramp Service Agent to support our Airlines, Airports & Air Transportation operations within the Transportation & Logistics department. As a Ground/Ramp Service Agent, you play a critical role in ensuring on-time, safe, and efficient turnaround of our regional aircraft serving smaller communities across the Western U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will work primarily on the airport ramp, performing hands-on tasks such as loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail; operating ground support equipment; marshaling and parking aircraft; positioning cones and chocks; de-icing aircraft as needed; and assisting with towing and pushback under proper supervision. You will follow strict safety, security, and operational procedures at all times to protect customers, coworkers, aircraft, and equipment. You will interact directly with flight crews, station agents, and other ramp personnel to support smooth operations and excellent customer service. This includes handling priority and special baggage, supporting on-time departures, responding quickly to irregular operations or weather events, and communicating clearly and respectfully in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on your feet for extended periods, and lift, push, and pull heavy items repeatedly.
