divh2Job Title/h2pCome join our amazing team and work remote from home!/ph3Job Description/h3pThe General Correspondence Specialist is responsible for reviewing and responding to general inquiries from borrowers, attorneys and/or authorized third-parties, confirmed successor in interest, or non-authorized third-parties, escalations from call center, and other correspondence received by the company. General correspondence may include verbal complaints or inquiries received that are non-specific and/or unrelated to the servicing of a customers mortgage. Perform all duties in accordance with all company guidelines and applicable federal, state and local regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $23.50/hr - $25.50/hr./ppWhat youll do:/pulliReview incoming written inquiries from requesters that are non-specific and/or unrelated to the servicing of a customers mortgage./liliPerform factual analyses of loan information, as necessary, and identify what information should be communicated in response to the general correspondence./liliCollaborate with other business units to assess appropriate resolution, when necessary./liliCompose responses or utilize standard templates that can be customized to respond to requesters, summarizing essential information, outcomes of actions taken, and final resolution./liliReview and respond to escalated verbal complaints received from the Customer Contact Division./liliProvide support by drafting and sending letters requested by Legal and other escalation departments./liliProvide support to the Dispute Team when applicable, and provide general administrative support as needed./liliAdhere to established department and company policies and procedures./liliIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint/liliKnowledge of relevant industry-specific software packages preferred/liliExcellent analytical skills, unbiased thinker with ability to remain flexible/liliStrong time management and organizational skills/liliAbility to interact with senior management/liliAbility to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information/liliAbility to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information/liliAbility to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions/liliAbility to apply common sense in performing job/liliAbility to make decisions that have significant impact on the departments credibility, operations, and services/liliAbility to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology/liliAbility to compose letters/liliAbility to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a daily basis/liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy/liliAbility to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines/li/ulpWhat youll need:/pulliEquivalent combination of education and experience is considered/liliHigh school diploma or GED required.
